I would be the fist one back if they just changed those things. SO i would say the FRONT and REAR end of MIDI have allways kicked me in the teeth and are the main reason i have reluctantly stayed away from PROTOOLS MIDI and having to use other software. having to choose DEVICE OUTPUT and MIDI CHANNELĪND IT CORRUPTS MY MIDI FILES IN DIFFERENT WAYS, my lyrics and chord data is errasedĮXPORT midis LOGIC is back to front ie when i want to export its normally the whole file so why not just DO IT like all other MIDI programs and if i want sections, than make me select them. IT FRUSTRATES ME TO SPEND SO MUCH TIME JUST TO GET READY TO DO ANYTHING.
IT IS TOO NON LOGICAL! AND THAT IS THE REASON I HAVE STAYED AWAY FROM IT. The reason for this is not so much the way Protools Handles midi in EDITING in actual fact I like the similarities with AUDIO it is perfect for me but the way it IMPORTS and EXPORTS its MIDI files. I have also used MIDI heavily since its birth but found to be using other software for that, now I hate that because using one program would be more conveniant. I have been a long time user of PROTOOLS with AUDIO using HD, 002 at work 001, Mbox2 at home and LOVE IT,
